Luzerne County Head Start awards scholarships, honors community partners

Luzerne County Head Start, Inc. held its 61st Anniversary Luncheon on May 18. The annual event celebrates the agency’s enduring commitment to providing comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition and social support services to low-income families in Luzerne and Wyoming counties. Along with recognizing its staff and board for their years of service, LCHS presented college scholarships to former students and honored community partners with special awards.
