St. Charles County man becomes first to receive breakthrough AFib treatment after smartwatch detects irregular heartbeat

A St. Charles County man is back to living an active lifestyle after becoming the first patient in the county to undergo a new treatment for atrial fibrillation, or AFib, a common heart rhythm disorder that can increase the risk of stroke and heart failure if left untreated.
