'An unprecedented pace': EPA official says one-third of properties affected by the Spokane Complex fires have been cleared of hazardous household materials

A little more than a week after hazmat teams began removing hazardous household materials from properties affected by the Spokane Complex fires, an official from the EPA said roughly one-third of all properties are now clear.
