Yankee Doodle Pops returns to the Iowa State Capitol for America’s 250th celebration

Yankee Doodle Pops, a popular summer tradition in Des Moines for more than 30 years, returns July 3, 2026, with a patriotic concert and fireworks to celebrate the 250th anniversary of United States' independence.
