WV health agency reports 47 cases of intestinal illness caused by parasite

The West Virginia Bureau for Public Health announced July 10, 2026, it is investigating an increase in cyclosporiasis cases occurring across the state. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention identified 729 confirmed cases in 30 states.
