Attendees remember Dolly Parton's 1976 performance at East Burke High School

Elsie Whisenant and her husband, Richard, were big fans of Merle Haggard in 1976. So when they heard he was going to perform at East Burke High School that year, they had to go. But it was Dolly Parton, who was also performing at the school that night, who stole the show, Elsie Whisenant said.
