The world premiere of “The Navigator,” a Hawaii-made documentary following Native Hawaiian navigator Nainoa Thompson’s final 2,400-mile voyage to Tahiti with a crew of student navigators, will open the 46th Hawai‘i International Film Festival on Wednesday at the Hawaii Theatre.
